Townmead Youth Football Club.

At Townmead Youth Football Club (West Drayton, Middlesex) we offer football to children of all ages and abilities.

The club was started in 2012 with only a couple of teams. Since then, it has grown and evolved into the club it is today.

The staff and players may have changed over the years, but the club's aim has not. We are here to offer the children a chance to play football in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Starting from the age of 3, we have our “Mini Kickers” group, where children can begin learning and practising the game of football. Hopefully, they will meet and make new friends. They will also learn about keeping active and burning off some excess energy that youngsters seem to have.

For the 2026-27 season, the club has teams training and playing in all age groups from Under 7 to Under 16. We have two all-girls teams in the Under 13 and 15 age groups.

We also have an associated 11-a-side Men’s senior team.

Most teams train every Saturday morning, but some train an evening during the week. Please check our “Teams Page” for training details.

As an FA Accredited Club, our Committee and staff have all undergone a Police criminal records checks and have completed safeguarding children courses. All coaches have completed an FA Introduction to football coaching course. Our aim is to take great care of all the children when training or playing with our club.

As an introduction, we offer 4 weeks training before you commit to join the club.

Our mixed teams (boys & girls) play their matches on a Sunday morning. The girls' only teams, play on a Saturday morning. The season starts in September and finishes in May the following year.

We may have friendly matches with other clubs when possible and many attend tournaments out of season.

The club closes down during the school summer holidays.

With around 230 children and 18 teams, the club needs more helpers to operate.

The Committee only has a few people and there is more work than we can handle.

PLAY SAFE ISN'T FOR ONE WEEKEND. IT IS FOR EVERY DAY
Anyone’s love of football can be taken away by negative behaviour and abuse. Safeguarding can prevent this from happening. A Play Safe weekend at the start of each season is there to put safeguarding at the forefront of people’s minds. It reminds everyone to watch, listen, talk, and act in every football environment. Play Safe 2024, we’re asking everyone to know their role in safeguarding.

This means no matter what role you have in football, you know your role and responsibility in making it a safe space for all.
