At Townmead Youth Football Club, (West Drayton, Middlesex) we offer football to children of all ages and abilities.

The club was started in 2012 with only a couple of teams. It has grown and evolved since then into the club it is today.

The staff and players may have changed over the last 11 years but the aim of the club has not. We are here to offer the youth of today a chance to play the game of football in a safe and enjoyable environment.

​

Starting from the age of 3, we have our “Mini Kickers” group, where children can start learning and practising the game of football. Hopefully, they will meet and make new friends. They will also learn about keeping active and burning off some excess energy youngsters seem to have.

​

For the 2023-24 season, the club hopes to have teams training and playing in Under 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and  15 age groups. We also hope to have an all-girls Under 10 team.

​

We also have an associated 11-a-side Men’s senior team.

​

We hold training sessions every Saturday morning for most of the youth age groups at our ground. Please check your age group on the “Team Page” for training times as some start and finish at different times. Some teams train evenings during the week.

​

As a FA Accredited Club, our Management Committee and staff have all undergone Police criminal records checks and completed safeguarding children training. All managers and coaches have completed a FA Introduction to football coaching course (the old level one coaching qualification). We will take great care of all the children when training or playing for our club.

​

As an introduction, we offer 4 weeks of free training to all newcomers to allow them to try it out and settle in with no commitment.

​

All youth teams will normally play their matches on a Sunday morning. The season starts in September and finishes in April / May. We also hold friendly’s with other clubs when possible and attend several tournaments between the end of the season and the start of the school summer holidays.
